Do Ladies Really Need to See a Womens Health Specialist? |

Unless they're concerned about issues related to womens reproductive health, many women don't see a reason for consulting a womens health specialist. That's short-sighted, in my opinion. Men's and women's bodies are different, with different physical needs, which is why I think that all women need to consult a womens health specialist from time to time, and not just about womens reproductive health, but about all aspects of their health. For example, women have different dietary needs. They need more calcium to help offset bone loss so that they don't develop osteoporosis. A general practitioner might be aware of this, but wouldn't have the detailed understanding of this condition so that it can be treated properly. It just makes sense for women to consult a womens health specialist for dietary advice and treatment and also because of their unique understanding of female physiology and its special needs. You can read a womens health fitness magazine if you want, but you should also see a womens health specialist if you have particular problems related to the female body. |
